We’re seeking a staff attorney for HELP: MLP’s Philadelphia office!

HELP: MLP provides civil legal services to support families with low incomes during pregnancy and early childhood, both critical periods when health-harming legal needs seriously impact maternal and infant health. By working side-by-side with community-based home-visiting programs through the Family Advocacy and Integrated Resources (FAIR) Project, our team aims to identify emerging legal needs early and take a preventative approach to legal services, with the goal of reducing family stress and fostering family stability.

We’re looking for a motivated public interest attorney interested in holistic, interdisciplinary legal services in a generalist practice. Ideally, our new Staff Attorney would have 3 or more years of legal aid experience in public benefits, housing, or family law; familiarity with Philadelphia’s legal and social services landscape; and a commitment to serving our client population. Spanish language fluency is a plus.
