The Foundation for Delaware County (TFDC) has established a Response Fund for non-profit organizations serving Delaware County during the COVID-19 crisis. TFDC is considering three funding priority levels: (1) Front Line Grants: funding for community-based nonprofits that have increased demand for services due to COVID-19. These nonprofits have deep roots in community and a strong track-record serving people who are immediately and disproportionately suffering from this crisis. HELP: MLP strongly opposes this NPRM due to the impact the proposed changes will have on families of children with disabilities and low-income parents who have disabilities themselves.

On October 3, 2019, the Food and Nutrition Service published a proposed rule, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP): Standardization of State Heating and Cooling Standard Utility Allowances, that will have detrimental impacts on low-income families across the country.
